Like many others, my journey with game development began with building a love for gaming first. I was introduced to gaming through early game consoles like plug and play controllers, Nintendo 64, and PlayStation 1. The fascination that I felt when the games first really started to click for me is something that never left me. This led to dreams of creating my own games, especially after getting introduced to the world of PC when I got my first laptop in middle school. Growing up playing those early, simple games and having the opportunity to see the explosive growth of the industry over the short time span of my teenage years made it feel natural for me to pursue a degree in game development. Now I am looking forward to building skills in the industry that I can take with me to make my childhood dream come true.

My goal is to be able to create the games that I would love to play for hours on end. For a game to capture my attention, it needs to keep up with the systems and graphics standards of the time. It also doesn’t help that I’m a fan of RPGs and MMORPGs and would love to take inspiration from those genres when creating. New hardware and software tools expand the possibilities of what we can create and play every single year, so this website is here to document my journey as I tackle building new systems and projects that help me get one step closer to the mythical “dream game”.
